INSTALLING FIRMWARE UPDATES

Leica is constantly working on developing and optimizing its products.

As digital cameras have many functions that are controlled electroni-

cally, some of these improvements and enhancements to the func–

tions can be installed on the camera at a later date.

To do this, Leica provides ﬁrmware updates at irregular intervals,

which you can conveniently download from our homepage to your

camera yourself:

Once you have registered your camera, Leica will notify you of all new

updates.

To identify which ﬁrmware version is installed:

in the menu

• The current version number is displayed.
